Matt is an experienced qualitative researcher with 7+ years of expertise in moderating market research studies for biotech and pharma clients in various fields such as biomarkers/diagnostics, oncology, cardiology, immunology, rare diseases, and more

  • Moderated US/EU5 oncology interviews related to genomic / MCED / MRD testing, biomarker-driven therapies (e.g., EFGR, MET, gBRCA), and IO (e.g., checkpoint inhibitors, CAR-T, ADC, bispecific antibodies) in NSCLC, Breast, Prostate, CRC, and mPanC

  • Moderated and consulted on US rare disease and cardiology products, including CIDP, ATTR, SPAF, and Cancer-related VTE

  • Expertise in moderating interviews with diverse stakeholder groups, including HCPs, KOLs, patients, caregivers, and payers/pharmacists across modalities

  • Proficient in moderating interviews to inform patient journey, buying process, TPP assessment, emotional understanding, profiling/segmentation, qual-e-quant, and brand positioning

  • Prior roles in strategic biotech/pharma consulting, most recently as an Engagement Manager with Trinity Life Sciences (previously with Charles River Associates and C1 Consulting)

  • MS in Biotechnology (Northwestern University)

  • BSc in Evolutionary Biology (University of Toronto)

  • Additional graduate coursework in Transposable Elements & Genomics (University of Toronto)
